I wonder if they’d be in the same state of mind and joking around if the team was involved in a relegation scrap? I suppose that it’s actually more of a testament to how well the team has done this season that they can bring us content like this.
Sheffield native Billy Sharp has been given the task of teaching the club’s record signing Sander Berge how to speak like a proper Sheffielder in a video that the club have put out, and let’s just say that it might take the Norwegian a while before he gets the hang of the slang. And Sheffield United fans couldn’t get enough of it, as they took to Twitter to show their utter delight at what they were seeing, with one fan saying that it needed to be taken a step further and have the respective roles reversed.
