The more and more he plays, the more impressive he seems to get.
I’m not saying that I told you so, but I did kind of tell you so when we were in the process of signing Ethan Ampadu that with game time he’d prove to be a very effective player for us.
And it seems as though he’s getting more and more admirers by the day, perhaps best exemplified by this tweet from noted Twitter personality @The_Bladesman, who gave their assessment of the young Welshman’s performance on Sunday:

I just hope that after his start to life at Bramall Lane that he’ll be allowed to continue to develop and that’s a going to be great news not only for him, but for us too. Chris Wilder spoke about how important this season is for him, and if he can carry on that upward trajectory whilst he’s playing with us, then both he and the club will receive plenty of benefit from it.
