Let`s keep the momentum going

We`ve had a pretty good run so far in the Championship and I think many were thinking we might have gone on a consolidation campaign rather than find ourselves where we do in the top three. We`ve had a fantastic run of form recently and I think that`s down to the aggressive stance that CW is sticking with. I think it`s catching a lot of teams out which is good for us.

Tomorrow may be a tough game against an established Championship side, but I`ve got the belief we can come through tomorrow afternoon with all the points – I`ll have to wear my lucky flat cap on the Kop! Hope we can keep this run going and surprise everyone with our league placement.

I`m not sure who CW will put up front with Sharp. Donaldson looks to be carrying his hamstring problem still so I presume Clarke will start up front, with Ched and Brooks on the bench. I wish Ched would get back to full fitness and find his form he had in his last spell with us – that would be an ideal partnership up front with Sharp.

I was hoping to get to Swillsborough with my lad for the away derby match, but was astounded as to the forty-two pound tickets the pigs were flogging. Can`t believe that and the allocation which is very poor indeed. I`m sure last season the FSF were campaigning a twenty`s plenty initiative. I can`t understand why they are charging so much, unless it`s to fund their over-priced non-scoring striker, Rhodes!! I`ll have to sit at home and watch it on the telly instead I suppose. Would have been good for my lad to get there for his first derby match, but I`m sure he`ll look forward to the return fixture at the Lane – plus I hope the United board return the favour and limit their allocation and also over-charge the Wendy fans for the honour of visiting us!!

I`ve got a busy day of Footy tomorrow – my lad has a Cup match for Chesterfield Junior Blues U16`S against Ashfield, so I`m hoping he can nick a goal there and beat them, and then it`ll be a quick dash to BDTBL to get my bum back on my seat on the Kop in time for countdown to kick-off!

I`m quite happy I did extra time away at work so that I can now have more leave at home and more football season time!!

Anyway, here`s hoping for a good win tomorrow and another three points to keep us ahead of the Wendys!

UTB!!!
