Legend Beattie Back at the Lane

Beattie left the Blades almost three years ago to Stoke for a fee of 3.5 million. However, after initial success his career has taken a nose dive with spells at Blackpool and Rangers.

United fans will be keen to see Beattie back at the Lane as he holds one of the most impressive goals to game ratios of the last deade. Although he didn’t always contribute the most to the team, his ability to score goals when United needed them was what endeared him to the United faithful.
