Jamie Annerson and Ho Kang Lee have left the Blades, but for rather different surroundings.

Lee Kang Ho has had a trial period at Leixoes and has signed a pre contract agreement following four years honing his skills in the Blades academy.

A spokesman from the club is pleased to have signed the 18 year old as it can benefit them on two fronts.

Lee earlier in the month came to Lexioes for a trial. He trained for a week with the first team squad and did very well, showing so much maturity and skill during his time at the club that coach Jose Mota and the sporting director had no hesitation in recommending that Lee be signed by Leixoes.

‘A further spin-off of the signing is the fact that Leixoes are also now in a strong position to attract additional sponsorhip opportunities from South Korea having agreed to sign an up-and-coming South Korean player.’

Annerson however, who has been capped numerous times by England’s under 19s has joined League 2 neighbours Rotherham United.

Annerson has showed vast potential in his emergence, and has enjoyed loan spells with Mansfield Town and the Millers this year. Despite never playing for his new club, the Millers have moved quick to snap up the young stopper following Steve Cann’s release.
