Sheffield United’s FA Cup win last weekend against QPR was followed up with a win back in league 1, which is a league we’re looking to get out of, in the ‘rehearsal’ for the fourth round when we book on Preston at Bramall Lane on Saturday afternoon.

After a goalless first-team Marc McNulty (52) made the breakthrough as he scored his 10th of the season with Jamal Campbell-Ryce (70) giving us some breathing space with 20-minutes to go as he added to his brace against QPR to double the lead.

Josh Brownhill’s (90+2) superb injury-time freekick was too little too late as we remained a play-off spot….

Before the game it wasn’t anticipated that we would lose, confidence was very high here with a win, a draw at least expected as these were the pre-match polls findings:-

Sheffield Utd v Preston

Sheffield Utd win 50%
Draw 50%
Preston win 0%

We look to pick out a ‘Man of the Match’ now as that’s what the latest poll is asking so do cast a vote – did a starter, or someone from the bench, offer us the most in our weekend win?

Select the name that you want from the list in the MotM poll to your right, but why not also share your thoughts with us on your thinking, and the game itself, with some views below.
