Sheffield United came from behind to secure a second half comeback to strengthen our play-off bid with a win at promotion rivals Bristol City on Saturday.

Bristol City, having gone into half time one-up, looked like they could win this promotion battle but three second half goals unanswered saw us secure the three-points with a three-one win at Ashton Gate.

Smith (41), who had had a great loan spell with Bristol City from Leeds, got the better of the defence to volley home a Freeman cross to give the hosts the half time lead, which was about the only chance of the half….

Done (54) managed to equalise early in the second half after Holt’s effort had been kept out by Bristol City ‘keeper Fielding.

The former Rochdale striker continued his impressive start to live with United when a low Murphy cross was turned home at close range by Done (77) to put us ahead with Murphy (82) himself completing the three-one win when he broke away.
