Khadra to look around Sheffield

Reda Khadra is on his way to Sheffield to have a look around the city and the teams facilities, Nathan Hemmingham has revealed in a Q&A for Yorkshire Live.

Although it’s intriguing that the Brighton player is taking a look at Sheffield, it does not mean that the player is definitely signing for United. It is an encouraging sign that the 21 year-old is visiting Sheffield, it gives the Blades hope as he is clearly considering his options.

As stated previously, Khadra has been monitored by a host of Championship clubs this summer that are trying to sign the German on a season-long loan. Interestingly Khadra’s contract at Brighton is set to expire next summer. Whoever the 21 year-old signs for, they could potentially sign him permanently if the player doesn’t extend his contract with the Premier League club.

Khadra can play as a winger, as an inside forward, as well as being more of a link man between midfield and attack, from the ‘number 10’ position. He would provide United with another impact player, and a similar one to last season’s loan sensation, Morgan Gibbs-White.
