Academy Focus: Part 1

Born in Seoul, South Korea, Ho-Lee is an 18 year old Goalkeeper who made the step up to reserve team level last season, after impressing in the clubs academy games.



Lee, initially joined on trial, and was signed on schoolboy terms after impressing Academy coach Ron Reid, and Goalkeeping Coach Andy Leaning.

Lee has featured primarily in the Academy this season, after the arrival of Maltese Goalkeeper, Justin Haber who has occupied the number one shirt for the Reserves of late.

Reid commented on Lee’s acquisition: ‘I don’t think the influence of a few foreign players is a bad thing. If they are good enough, they will bring a different culture and that’s good for our lads.’
