I’m not sure if it quite meets the standards for ‘liquid football’, but it certainly is a lot better than the ‘basic football’ that we’ve been accused of providing so far this season.
Whilst football looks as if it is slowly on the way back, it’s still not quite back in its totality just yet, so to help fans get through this period of little to no action, the club decided to post footage of yet another great goal that we have scored this season, and it was a pretty impressive one.
They went for John Fleck’s second goal against Aston Villa from the game in December, a game we ran out 2-0 winners in.
It may have looked a little chaotic at times, but it was a very well-worked goal that was finished off with an overhead assist from David McGoldrick before being stroked home by Fleck.
Where will the Blades end the season?
Champions League
Europa League
Out of Europe
And when the club put the goal up on social media, Blades fans flocked to comment on just how great a goal it was.
Shock Norwood is at the heart of all of this. Most important player in club

The angle on that makes it look as good as it actually was. #wilderball

Everyone running around and the ball flying everywhere, then one touch from Didzy unlocks it all. Classic.

No look lob assist from didzy. Just too basic, playground stuff.

Was this our best goal of the season? It’s certainly up there.
