Neil Warnock has continued his traditional ‘bigging up’ of United’s opponents prior to the weekend’s game.
I really am at a loss to understand how the Blades boss believes these comments will help the team?
speaking on the official site, Warnock said the following about United’s next opponents, Bolton Wanderers,
‘It’s going to be difficult, you can see where they are in the league. They were the best side at the Lane before we got out of jail and we have to give them a better game on Saturday.
‘People say they are having a bad time but with just eight games to go, the table doesn’t lie.
‘We are under no illusions, we know it’s going to be tough. We know we are going to have to cope physically with set-pieces and throw-ins.’
Maybe it’s just me, but I would be hoping for a bit more of a positive attitude against opponents who are also on a poor run?
