Have Robson and Fergie fallen out?

When Robson was unveiled as our new manager this summer much was made of his contacts, particularly at Old Trafford. This makes it all the more disappointing that he has apparently lost out to Wolves in the race to sign Darron Gibson on loan from Manchester United.

Mick McCarthy has described his new signing on the Wolves official site as being ‘a very, very talented and powerful midfield player with a good range of passing.’

Wouldn’t we love someone like that?
