With 17 minutes remaining in the Summer transfer window, it appears the Blades have finally taken some steps forward, with a move for Reading man James Harper.
The transfer ‘mogul’ on SkySports News has just run through the Blades business, confirming that Harper and Howard have agreed a swap deal, with Billy Sharp also leaving the club.
It doesn’t bolster the Blades numbers at all with four players leaving and only two arriving, so loan moves are imminent.
