Following a scan on Tuesday, Neil Warnock confirmed that Paddy Kenny’s groin injury is not as serious as first feared.

The keeper had to be substituted against Arsenal after pulling up with the injury, and the Blades were worried that Kenny could be sidelined for a lengthy period.

However, Warnock told the official site ‘Paddy has had his scan and there’s good news. There’s no tear- it’s a strain -and he’s going to be out for two to three weeks.’

The Blades are still waiting upon the results of Mikele Leigertwood’s scan after he picked up an ankle injury, also against Arsenal.
