We’re not giving up without a fight.
And hopefully this will be the offer that gets the deal over the line. Mainly because we need a new forward after failing to score in our first three league games, and partially because I can’t keep up with all the twists and turns that this transfer seems to be taking.
According to journalist Alan Nixon, all is not lost when it comes to our pursuit of Liverpool forward Rhian Brewster. Even though there were reports over the weekend suggesting that Crystal Palace were the front runners to sign the youngster, it appears as though we are set to swoop in with an offer that Liverpool might be more willing to agree to:
Sheff U. New bid for Brewster. 17. Increased today after weekend setback. Key is that it includes a buy back that Liverpool want. Palace willing to pay MORE but don’t want a buy back. Game on.

I’m not 100% sure if this is the route to go down, as this could essentially be a glorified loan deal if he comes in and does a very good job for us this campaign, and I’d rather he be able to stay for a long time at Bramall Lane.
Would you rather have Brewster on a _______?
Permanent
Loan deal
I suppose if we could get a decent amount of profit from the deal, then it would be OK in my books as we could reinvest that. I suppose it’s all going to come down to which figures work out best for both the club buying and the club selling.
It’s sure to be an interesting few days to see who, if anyone can win out in this tussle.
What about you? What do you think of this news regarding Brewster?
