Former Paris Striker Who Could Soon Become A Blade

|

Sheffield United have already shown that they are keen to make business transactions during the January Transfer Window with the acquisitions of Jack Rodwell, and most recently defender Jack Robinson from Nottingham Forest. In the Premier League, the defence has been ok having conceded 22 goals, but have scored only 25 (two more than rock bottom Norwich City!).

Goals are where United need to improve, and acquisition of new strikers may be needed to improve the goals tally. They have already found a gem in Lys Moussett, who joined the Blades last summer in a £10million move from AFC Bournemouth. Chris Wilder could soon see another French striker come to Bramall Lane.

It has been reported by Sheffield United News, that the Blades are bringing in Monaco striker Gobe Gouano, 19, on trial, with a view to a permanent move. The former Paris FC forward has yet to start for the Monaco first team, but has experience in the UEFA Youth Champions League.

United need to invest in the strikers position, and Gouano could be one of those hidden gems to storm the Premier League, but only time will tell if he’ll become a United player.
