Neil Warnock has finally captured the signing of veteren
Blackburn midfielder Garry Flitcroft, who signed an 18-month contract today, becoming the Blades’ first signing of the January tranfer window.
The tough-tackling 33-year-old has spent that last 10 years of his career at Ewood Park and has been tracked for a while by United manager Neil Warnock. Flitcroft goes straight into the squad to face Ipswich at Portman Road on Saturday.
Flitcroft, who started his career at Man City, told the media: ‘Man management means everything these days. I met Neil and he seems my type of man. He’s been chasing me for some time and I’d like to repay the faith he’s shown in me by helping him get promoted to the Premiership.’
