Sheffield United are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The performance by Mark Duffy in the two one victory over Leeds United at the weekend at Elland Road was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Duffy was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘There was change at the top of the Sky Bet Championship too, courtesy of Sheffield United`s 2-1 triumph at Leeds United on Friday night. Both the Blades` strikes were teed up by Duffy, who turned in a terrific display to help his side to victory.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Duffy for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the win.

Full Team:

Colin Doyle (Bradford City), Matty Taylor (Swindon Town), Joel Lynch (Queens Park Rangers), John White (Southend United), Josh Morris (Scunthorpe United), Kieran Dowell (Nottingham Forest), Jorge Grant (Notts County), Mark Duffy (Sheffield United), Sam Surridge (Yeovil Town), Mikael Mandron (Colchester United), Josh Parker (Gillingham).

Manager – Mark Robins (Coventry City).
