Sheffield United booked their place in the FA Cup fifth round with a dramatic winner in the final minute of extra time at Fulham.

Shaun Miller, who only returned to the side towards the end of last year after ten months out with a cruciate knee ligament injury, came off the bench to head home as the tie looked to be heading towards penalty.

It was no more than United deserved, who looked the more likely to win on the night.

There were few clear-cut chances on a miserable night at Craven Cottage as wind and rain swirled around the ground.

John Brayford, who had been a constant threat down the right for United all night, came closest to opening the scoring before the winner when he broke through the Fulham defence, forcing David Stockdale into a good save.

Mark Howard was making his first appearance in goal for United since the arrival of manager Nigel Clough in October and he had a relatively quiet night, as the United defence were immense throughout.

The blades will now meet either Preston North End or Nottingham Forest at home in round five.
