It’s all about the fee, and if he’d be value for money.
That seemed to be the response from Sheffield United fans when discussing the latest transfer news coming out of Bramall Lane.
According to a report from Turkish outlet Fotomac, the Blades have had their €15m bid for goalkeeper Uğurcan Cakir rejected by his club Trabzonspor.
Sheffield United have been trying to bring the Turkish stopper on board for some time now (when they were set an asking price of €30m), more than likely in anticipation that Dean Henderson doesn’t make his way back to Bramall Lane for a third time this summer.
How much will Sheffield United spend this summer in total?
£50m or more
Less than £50m
And whilst some fans were fixated on the price just on its own, there were some who couldn’t help but bring the conversation back to our number one goalkeeper from this season as a point of comparison.
Double it and get hendo back for good

Leaving us 30 mill to bring in 4/5 outfield players including a goalscorer

Been a lot of interest in him. £16m or under would be good business I reckon.

We'll be lucky to get him because some European giants are sniffing around him

Whether it's him or Ramsdale we do need a number one goalkeeper for the long term https://t.co/rAvKDg0WYF

Haven't seen him but heard he pushes deano and is arguably as good!? If this is true then I would absolutely love this. A year older than deano still young got over ten years left and we would have basically deano on permanent. Would prefer deano on permanent but this guys great https://t.co/0OHhhiUTIN

What about you? What do you make of this news surrounding Cakir?
