Fresh from turning down the contract we put on the table for him and the announcement that he would be leaving us come the summer, Sheffield United have today granted Diego De Girolamo another loan move out of the club so he has now for all intents and purposes left Bramall Lane completely.
The 19 year old returns to League Two York City on a loan spell that will expire at the end of the season and it will be his third spell out at Bootham Crescent this season, and he will be looking to build on his eight appearances and four goals so far.
He leaves us having made six appearances for Nigel Clough as we tried to develop him and he won’t now be returning you wouldn’t expect.
