With an unsigned contract, and being out of contract come the end of the season Diego De Girolamo had been on loan at York City for another spell this season but that ended earlier this week as the club recalled him.

However, he has been recalled to be immediately loaned back out to League Two side Northampton Town.

He had had two spells on loan with York, making a total of nine starting appearances, with a further three from the bench. He has also scored four times for them, but that came in his first spell.

Since returning to them at the end of February he failed to find the net in the two starts and two sub appearances he made.

The 19 year old now heads to Sixfields until the end of the season and they are managed by former player Chris Wilder.
