Midfielder Florent Cuvelier has secured himself a loan spell out at League Two Burton Albion.

The 22 year old has penned a loan spell until May 2 with the promotion hopefuls and he is in line to make his debut for them on Saturday when they face Hartlepool United and Victoria Park.

The spell has been designed to get the Belgian some good game time as he continues to recover fully from his knee injury sustained at the end of 2014.

Speaking to the Official Site manager Nigel Clough explained.

‘This is a good move to enable Flo to play football on a regular basis to build his fitness. Burton is a good location for him personally and with them being around the top of League Two it gives him some competitive action.’

Having been signed by former gaffer David Weir, Cuvelier has now made a total of 13 appearances for the club, and having made his comeback from injury against Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup back in December, he went on to feature four more times with his last appearance coming against Port Vale on Boxing Day.
