As per earlier reports, Oli Burke has completed a permanent move to newly promoted Bundesliga side Weder Bremen for an undisclosed fee.

The 25 year-old made 36 appearances for the Blades across two seasons, scoring against Bristol Rovers in the cup in his first season, and scoring against Manchester United in the Premier League also in his first season.

With a bit of momentum that Burke picked up at his loan move to Millwall last season, can the Scottish international now finally kick on in his career. Burke has spent an average of 2 seasons at each club he’s signed permanently for. Will it be any different at Bremen?

The last time Burke was playing German football he contributed to three goals for RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga, in the 25 games he participated in. Can Burke impact things at Werder Bremen?
