Sheffield United have confirmed that Cameron Carter-Vickers has now returned to parent club Tottenham Hotspur.

The 20 year old defender came in on a loan spell in the summer window and having made his debut, and scored the winner, in the game against Bolton Wanderers in September he went on to make a total of 17 appearances.

He also experienced the Steel City derby at Hillsborough in September as well. His last appearance for the Blades came earlier this month in our game against Ipswich Town.

Speaking to the Official Site as he confirmed his departure, manager Chris Wilder said.

‘We thank Cam for his contribution in the first half of the campaign and Spurs for loaning him to us – we hope both feel the loan spell was beneficial.’
