It has been reported today that Cardiff City are interested in as many as four Sheffield United players in January.
Dave Jones has been rumoured to be after the signatures of Geoff Horsfield, Paul Ifill, Ade Akinbiyi and Alan Wright from the Yorkshire club.
The four players have all been transfer listed by Warnock, who told the Sheffield Star ‘We’ve had a few enquiries about some of our lads but that is as far as it’s gone.’
Meanwhile, closer to home, Sheffield United shareholders accepted the clubs proposal for a £10M convertible loan notes issue yesterday.
The news means that Neil Warnock will now have an extra £5M to invest in new players in January.
