Sheffield United opened their pre season game schedule earlier today with a heavy defeat to Burton Albion.

Manager Nigel Clough took the opportunity to play two different elevens in each half to give the 22 travelling players 45 minutes run out each.

Not really worth going over the match action given it was four goals against us, but Clough at least would’ve been pleased with the affect the match would’ve made on us fitness wise, but having called for a bright start and a good performance, it’s unlikely he would’ve been too pleased even though he said results weren’t an issue for him at the moment.

United’s second half showing was improved though, but not enough to affect the scoreline or stop them adding to the score line.
