Harry Boyes has now committed his long-term future to the Blades and has signed a three-year deal with the club. Following this, Boyes has completed a season-long loan move to newly promoted League One team, Forest Green Rovers.

The 20 year-old left-wingback had an impressive loan spell last season at National League side, Solihull Moors.

Boyes made 36 appearances during his loan spell last season, scoring 5 goals from left-wingback in the process. That was enough to see him named in the National League team of the season.

Blades boss Paul Heckingbottom is delighted with the extension of Harry Boyes’ contract:

“Harry went out and performed well in the National League last season and that has prompted a number of EFL clubs to enquire about him on-loan this summer.

“We feel this is a great opportunity for him at Forest Green in League One and we are delighted to finalise the deal, having seen him commit his long-term future to United.” [Sheffield United Website]
