The Sheffield Star are reporting that the new hotel at Bramall Lane is on fire.
Initial reports suggest that acetylene and propane cylinders are on fire and that the surrounding area has been cordoned off in case of explosions.

Update
Panic over. Only one gas cylinder exploded and, although traffic chaos seems likely until the final all clear is given, the Taj Mahal of football (as Stuart Hall famously calls the Lane) is safe!
