Sheffield United suffered their fourth defeat in six games this season as Rotherham United claimed the local bragging rights with a 3-1 win at the New York City Stadium.

Jose Baxter netted his first goal for Sheffield United since joining from Oldham Athletic to give the blades an half time lead but it was all downhill in the second half.

It could have been better in the first half, defender Tony McMahon seeing his free kick come back off the woodwork.

Kieran Agard fired Rotherham level early in the second half and two goals in three minutes secured the points for the home side.

Daniel Nardiello fired home from the penalty spot after he was fouled in the area to give Rotherham the lead and Robert Milsom beat Mark Howard to make it three after poor defending by Harry Maguire.
