Stuart McCall on Birmingham: ‘Birmingham picked up a good result at the weekend. They will come to Bramall Lane with confidence’.
Neil Warnock will most likely make a number of key changes to the side that lost against Everton on Saturday. Ifill, Akinbiyi, Law, Bennett, Geary, Unsworth and Nade are all likely to figure.
The young French striker scored a great goal against Bury in the last round and will hope to impress again on Tuesday night.
Birmingham have a number of injury worries. David Dunn looks likely to miss the game after picking up a hamstring injury at the weekend. Birmingham will also be without Neil Kilkenny and Matthew Upson who are also injured.
Sheffield United were after the services of Cameron Jerome last season. If Jerome plays on Tuesday he is bound to cause United’s defence problems with his pace, strength and eye for goal.
