Earlier this evening some of the 2019 EFL Awards categories were announced and Sheffield United have a strong presence in this annual event next month.
The EFL have confirmed their Championship Team of the Season and we have two player entries and a third in the proverbial Team dugout.

The event takes place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Sunday April 7 but it’s very much a case of all eyes to Billy Sharp as our leading goalscorer and skipper has also been nominated for the Championship Player of the Year gong.
He has been named on the three man shortlist alongside Birmingham City’s Che Adams and Norwich City’s Teemu Pukki.
Now we see if he lifts it and we have another reason for cheer this year.
