Sheffield United once again left it late to claim a point in their final away game of the season at Oldham Athletic.

Chris Porter was again the blades super sub. Porter came off the bench to score the winner at Port Vale on Friday night and he once again did the trick with an 84th minute equaliser in this 1-1 draw.

James Wilson had headed Oldham into a first half lead but United fought back to earn a point.

Jose Baxter was denied by Paul Rachubka in the Oldham goal when through and Conor Coady had a goal disallowed for offside as United looked for an equaliser in the first half.

Youngster Tom Kennedy went close in the second half for United when his header hit the bar before Porter tapped in from close range after a tempting ball into the middle by Jamie Murphy.

Danny Philliskirk went close for the home side in injury time whilst Stefan Scougall saw his effort tipped over for United.
