Sheffield United moved out of the relegation zone with a crucial 1-0 win at Gillingham.

On loan Liverpool midfielder Conor Coady was again on target, as his first half strike was enough to claim the points. Coady scored the blades first goal on Sunday as they fought back to knock Nottingham Forest out of the FA Cup.

Ben Davies made his debut for United from the bench after signing from Derby County earlier in the day. Davies was due to start the game but he arrived late at Priestfield after completing his move and Bob Harris replaced him in the starting line-up.

The win for United made it four wins in a row in all competitions as they continue to build momentum.
