Chris Wilder is already making his mark on the Sheffield United squad, making it clear to some they’ve not got a future under him and to others that they’ll now come back into the mix having previously been pushed aside by former boss Nigel Adkins.

He’s also, of course, already signed two players with them both confirmed this week.

Wilder’s still got plenty of work to do with the United squad, with player departures almost certainly required but the former Northampton boss wouldn’t have returned to the club if he wouldn’t have been offered the tools he required to work with.

The latest name being linked with a move to United is Blackburn midfielder Chris Taylor, who ended last season on loan with his former club Millwall who are also interested in a permanent deal for the 29-year-old too.

HITC Sport are reporting that as much as Neil Harris is a ‘huge admirer’ of Taylor the former Oldham man, who is set to leave Blackburn with him ‘surplus to requirements’ at Ewood Park, United will be strong competition for Millwall.

In fact these reports have gone as far to say talks over a move to Bramall Lane already underway with Taylor?
