Sheffield United have swooped to bring in full-back Paul Connolly from Championship rivals Derby County.
With Chris Morgan missing two games through suspension, the Blades thin back-line was to be stretched even further.
However, following the arrival of Nicky Hunt, Connolly has struggled for game time, so manager Nigel Clough allowed him to join the Blades on an emergency loan deal.
It’s expected he’ll replace Morgan in the side tonight, with Nyron Nosworthy moving to central defence.
