Sheffield United have been listed along with Watford and West Ham United to show an interest in free transfer Emmanuel Adebayor, who is best known for playing for Arsenal and Manchester City, according to Mad About EPL but how serious are the Blades for the 35-year-old?
There has been a barrage of transfer links which has seen Sheffield United linked with a number of players (but have yet to announce any official signings as of yet) since they secured promotion to the Premier League.
Adebayor, 35, is available on a free transfer following his release from Turkish outfit Istanbul Basaksir last Friday and has since been linked with a move to Watford, West Ham United and Scottish Champions Celtic.
He has netted 82 goals for four Premier League clubs; Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, and Crystal Palace between 2006-2016.
Whether or not he will rejoin the Premiership elite next season will remain to be seen but at the moment all that the Blades supporters are reading are rumours ahead of the transfer window opening up again on 1 July.
