Thursday, June 21 is the big day and the EFL will be releasing all 72 member clubs fixture lists at 9am in the morning.
Having stormed to promotion and the League One title, the Blades narrowly missed out on a second promotion run last season. Only six points separated us at the end of the campaign from Derby County and sixth place as they took the last Play-Off spot.
Expectations are high this year with hopes that manager Chris Wilder’s side will start off with the same level of intensity that we performed for much of the 2017/18 campaign, but that we will crucially add a bit more consistency with the experience we gained last term.
Ultimately fans are looking for the club to go one better this time around and book our place in the Premier League.
Thursday will also see confirmation of the opening matches that have been selected for live television coverage.
Optimism and anticipation is high, but the fans haven’t lost their sense of humour given the earlier tweet by the club.
