Sheffield United have covered their Bramall Lane pitch in a bid to beat the weather and get their FA Cup fifth round tie against Nottingham Forest on this weekend.

United have seen two of their last three home games called off due to a waterlogged pitch including Wednesday night`s game with Brentford.

With more heavy rain expected to hit the area on Friday as well as showers on Saturday, United have brought in covers to cover the whole playing area.

The blades are desperate not to lose any more games to the weather as they already face a busy end to the season with them already facing a minimum of nineteen games in the final eleven weeks of the season.
