Sheffield United are having on-going discussions with Celtic over the possible signing of midfielder Thomas Gravesen.
The former Everton and Real Madrid player is on the shopping list of manager Bryan Robson, who hopes to tempt the midfielder to Bramall Lane.
However, even if Celtic agree to the transfer, Gravesen himself has already stated that he wants to fight for his place at Celtic.
Blades Chairman Kevin McCabe told BBC Radio Sheffield, ‘He’s on our list, so now it’s a question of can we conclude terms and does the player want to come to us?’
We could certainly do with someone of Gravesen’s quality in the centre of midfield but, even if he is willing to discuss terms, I feel his wage demands may be the major stumbling block.
