Sheffield United today confirmed the signing of striker Daniel Bogdanovic on a free transfer.

Bogdanovic, who hit 14 goals for Barnsley this season, expressed an early desire to leave Mark Robins’ side when he heard of the Blades interest.

Talks began in early May, but a number of ‘red tape’ issues have delayed the deal, but United (and their sponsors) will no doubt be pleased with the end result.

Bogdanovic History: League Appearances (Goals)
2000-2001 Sliema Wanderers 7 (2)
2001-2002 Vasas SC 1 (0)
2000-2001 Naxxar Lions 18 (11)
2002 Valletta 15 (11)
2003 Cherno More 7 (1)
2003 Sliema Wanderers 10 (1)
2004-2005 Marsaxlokk 21 (14)
2005-2006 Sliema Wanderers 22 (10)
2006-2007 Marsaxlokk 28 (31)

  • I don’t think this is a good signing, what i’ve seen of him i don’t rate him. Can’t see him running his blood to water when the chips are down!!!!

    Hope I’m wrong !!!!!!!!

  • I suppose this clears the way to sell at least two from Henderson, Ward and Sharp, possiblly all three. Can’t be long before McCabe makes anotehr PR appearance on the radio telling us all he’s just an ordinary Blade and doing a wonderful job!

  • just another waste of space publicity signing..is this all what we are about now. trying to look good in other countries but an absolute ******** joke in our own country and in front of our own fans!!
