Sheffield United continued their revival with a hard-earned point at highflying Peterborough United.

The blades held Peterborough to a goalless draw at London Road to make it four points from two games and bring to an end a run of six straight wins for the home side.

Despite the point, they dropped back into the relegation zone after Stevenage won at Crewe Alexandra to jump above them in the table.

In a tight first half, George Long in the Sheffield United goal did well to keep out a Danny Swanson effort early in the game.

Lyle Taylor came closest to opening the scoring when his shot rattled the Peterborough crossbar.

Long again did well in the second half when he got down well to deny Paul Taylor.

The blades best chance fell to defender Harry Maguire but he couldn`t keep his headed effort on target.
