Sheffield United have had four of their away games moved to accomodate television coverage with the first being on the very first day.

As usual, United’s opening fixture has been rearranged, although rather than kickiing-off before the rest of the country, the Blades will now be playing Cardiff City a day later.

Meanwhile, trips to the Riverside and Pride Park to face Derby County and Middlesborough have also been altered for SKY coverage, both of which have been televised over the past two seasons.

Finally, United’s short trip up the M18 to the Keepmoat stadium has also been shifted, and will now kick-off two hours later to feature on the television in full HD no doubt (even Chris Morgan).

It will be the fourth time in five seasons that the first fixture has been altered, with the Blades winning one, drawing two and losing one.
