The Blades have captured the signing of striker Ade Akinbiyi this afternoon andhave also announced the signing of Stoke City striker Bruce Dyer.
Akinbiyi passed his medical on Thursday morning and will
complete a move for a club record fee which could rise to
£1.75million. The second ‘surprise’ signing is none other than Bruce Dyer, who has played for Watford, Palace, Barnsley, Stoke and, most recently, Millwall. Dyer’s only goals this season came at Bramall Lane in the 2-2 draw with Millwall and he has signed a deal until the end of the season.
Both players are available for selection in the Blades’ next game – next week’s trip to Derby County’s Pride Park.
