Following a short trial spell with us Kieran Wallace has been confirmed on a deal until the end of the season.
The former Nottingham Forest youngster had been with Ilkeston Town on ‘non-contract’ terms this season, since his release by the Championship outfit, but had been training with us and turned out as a trialist for our U21 side in the draw with Bradford City in midweek.
Wallace did enough to convince Nigel Clough into giving him a contract.
He will now join Che Adams, who also joined us from Ilkeston after a trial earlier this month, in looking to forge himself a long-term future at Bramall Lane, which is something that he’ll achieve if he impresses between now and the summer.
