Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell has told his players to just ‘get on with it’.
Following a spate of injuries throughout the season which has disrupted the boss’ plans in more areas than one, the Blades sit just outside the play-off positions with just over two vital months remaining.
Derek Geary has been mentioned this week, with an injury forcing him out for three months (don’t be surprised to see him back before then), and with Kyle Walker’s return to Tottenham, the full back position is looking worrying for the near future.
Despite this latest setback, Blackwell believes his squad have to focus on the play-offs and make sure they’re in the mix come May.
‘These are the cards we have been dealt. However difficult it is, however tough it has been at times, we’ve just got to get on with it.
‘True, there have been a number of mitigating circumstances behind some of our results lately but we can’t let them overshadow things. We all know where we want to be.’
