If you get given an opportunity, you have to take it.
And judging by the response of the fans, that’s exactly what he’s been able to do.
Ben Osborn hasn’t exactly had the best of times at Sheffield United this season when it comes to getting in the first team, with the game on Saturday being only his 6th in the league and 10th in all competitions.
Although when you consider how well things have been going for the starting eleven, riding high in the Premier League, it’s going to be hard for someone to break down that barrier. Because at the end of the day, if it isn’t broken, there’s no need to fix it.
However, he seems to have been doing a good job of making sure to impress the fans whenever he does make an appearance. Because when the club’s Twitter account posted about his performance over the weekend, there were hordes of fans who were willing to pass on their good words about his display.
A true professional, has been patiently waiting his turn. He's an asset to the club.

Thought he was very impressive considering his lack of game time.

Thought he played well in the Fylde FA game too, always good to have quality in all back up positions invade the worst happens

Osborn was great and had an amazing sprint/dash behind him for the ball. Very useful player would love to see him more

The question now is, has he done enough in these little cameos to force his way into becoming a starter?
