It seems that the majority of fans thought Beattie would be a good signing, but only at the right price.
58% of fans voted for the option ‘Only Sign Him If Wage Is Right.’, after the news he was reportedly being offered £40,000 a week.
Second place went to the simple option of ‘Sign Him’, which took 28% of the votes.
It seems that few people were totally against the £4M signing, as only 14% went for the option ‘Don’t Touch Him With A Barge-Pole!!!’
