Michael Tonge on why the Blades have to work on ‘the basics’ if they want to kick-start a disappointing start to the Championship season.
‘It’s obvious that things aren`t going great for us at the moment and we’re all a bit disappointed with the results we’ve been getting. We really need a win to get back on track.
‘The mood around the place reflects that, we’re feeling a bit down. It just seems that we are conceding a lot of goals and not giving ourselves a chance.
‘The last few games have been cases in point, where we’ve been in good positions but have sacrificed the lead through silly mistakes. We were lucky to get a point against Cardiff and we under-performed against Bristol City on Saturday.’
