I think this first person might be on the right lines of it all.
“A 10 but a 10 that has no right to be more than a 7 or 8.” That one sentence pretty much goes to show what Sheffield United fans think of Chris Basham, even if his track record doesn’t already say that about him.
Basham has made north of 250 appearances for the Blades since he first signed for us from Blackpool in the summer of 2014, and has been an integral part of the club in the past couple of seasons as we have climbed through the divisions.
Will Chris Basham be a part of Premier League Team Of The Year?
Yes
No
So when @Blades1889_com decided to ask fans on social media if they could rate his career out of ten, he was always going to get rather high marks from the supporters, the question was just going to be what number specifically they gave him, and whether or not anyone would actually grade him higher, which a few people did.
The best and most productive years of his career. Every manager, team and dressing room needs a Chris Basham, an honest fully committed player whatever role he is asked to perform.
